I made this card for the NBUS #5 Challenge. You can find the rules and deets at Darnell's (the creator of this challenge) Blog. NBUS is a phrase that Darnell coined - which means: Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. This is such an inspiration and incentive to get out your NBUS, new or old, (you know, the ones that are collecting dust instead of being used and loved) and create a card.
Mickey, Minnie and the balloon (all wooden stamps) have been waiting for the right opportunity to make their debut. Well, I needed a card for my grand-niece and these were the perfect images for her and the challenge, too The sentiment bubble and sentiment were created by me. The stamps were inked, stamped, and clear embossed. They were then colored with Copics and fussy cut. There were no custom image dies back when I bought these classic images. I added Glossy Accents to the balloon (very difficult to photograph, so sorry). I popped them all up with foam adhesive and added the string for the balloon. Other than the fussy cutting and waiting for the Glossy Accent to dry (sigh) a super easy card.
Thanks for looking! I hope my card helps to inspire you to create a card...and use NBUS (new or old)!

Thank you for breaking out Mickey, Minnie, and the balloon for my NBUS Challenge #5, Cindy! I love your design and I think you did a fabulous job of fussy cutting your characters ~ you certainly don't need any dies with how well you cut! I can tell that the balloon is super shiny! Your grandniece will love this!! Hugs, Darnell

As sweet as can be with all those typical Disney colors on parade. The design is unencumbered which makes it perfect to really showcase Mickey and Minnie.
